Traditional style inspired by the original Okinawan Tonfa. With their roots in Okinawa as a farmer's rice thresher, Tonfas have long been a favorite of karate practitioners the world over. Solid all hardwood construction. The 4.5 inch handle is precision fitted into the squared main body and pinned with a hardwood dowel to prevent movement during heavy training. Each measures 22 inches overall. 16.5 inch from handle to end. (Tonfa should extend 1' - 3' past your elbow). Sold in pairs. Imported from Canada. Note: For use under qualified supervision only.
